The United States and Jordan Free-Trade Agreement – FTA
Signed in 2001 with no expiration date, this agreement has been signed by the two countries to establish a free-trade for goods and services. Customs are dismantled for both countries according to the US-Jordan FTE Rules of Origin.
QIZ – Qualifying Industrial Zone
Under the trade agreements with Jordan as laid down by the United States, goods produced in QIZ-notified areas can directly access US markets without tariff o quota restrictions, subject to certain conditions.
EU- Jordan Free-Trade agreement – Association Agreement
The Association Agreement governs the trade relations between the EU and Jordan. This Agreement established a Free-Trade Area liberalizing two-way trade in goods bet the EU and Jordan. The EU and Jordan have subsequently developed their FTA further through supplementary agreements on agricultural, agro-food and fisheries products and on a bilateral dispute settlement mechanism which entered into force in 2007 and 2011 respectively.
Jordan and Canada Free-Trade agreement
Signed in 2009, this is the first Free-Trade agreement that Canada has signed with an Arab country. This agreement ensures that Jordanian goods access the Canadian market free from custom tariff.

GAFTA – The Greater Arab Free Trade Area
Full exemption of custom duties and charges between all country members of the GAFTA except Sudan and Yemen.
